Mount Vernon Park, Belfast - June 2016(1)
The south eastern end of an almost-circular street, in the Mount Vernon estate, off the Shore Road. The estate was built on the site of “Mount Vernon” – a house once occupied, inter alia, by Samuel Lawther DL JP (died 1913) – a former High Sheriff of Belfast. He was also involved in the Belfast and Mersey Steamship Company and Lawther and Harvey (not to be confused with Lawther and Harvey (Ireland) Limited). See also Image

Nos 558-564 Shore Road, Belfast (September 2017)
Properties, on the western side of the Shore Road, of which only no 564 (right) is occupied. This had been vacant ground until the 1950’s. I cannot find any current planning permission for the site.
