Holy Cross Church, Ardoyne
Built in 1902 - this is a community of Passionists. Stands in a prominent position, towering over the Crumlin Road on the hill up to the Ardoyne Roundabout.

The interior of Holy Cross Church, Crumlin Road
The present Holy Cross church dates from 1903. This replaced an earlier church built in 1868. The parish has always been in the care of the Passionist order founded Paolo Danei in 1720.

Statue of St Gabriel in the grounds of Holy Cross Church
The inscription states it was commissioned by a grateful client of St Gabriel for the good of the client and the people of the Ardoyne. The statue stands in an area of rough land south of the church known as the Grove.
