The Obel, Belfast (March 2018)
Now accepted as one of the sights around the Lagan and it’s becoming hard to remember the area BTO (Before The Obel). This view shows the building through the M3 (left)/cross-harbour railway gap. This was the site Image in March 2009.

Obel Tower
Sited immediately to the south of the rail bridge on the left bank of the Laggan. At 85 metres high with 27 storeys, the Obel Tower is the tallest storeyed building in Ireland. The tower houses apartments, office and retail spaces.

The Obel Tower is an apartment block on Belfast's Donegall Quay. At 85 metres (279 ft) in height, the tower is the tallest storeyed building in Ireland.

Some of the apartments, on the upper floors, are self-catering holiday accommodation gaining many complimentary Trip Advisor comments about the views over Belfast Lough, harbour and even the City Airport. The City Quays development is on the right.
