Church Lane, Belfast
See Image Church Lane runs from Ann Street to High Street. It is home to a variety of small business ranging from a specialist tobacconist through a tool shop to several bars and cafes. The one on the left is on the ground floor of the “Hi-Park” Image and, at 10.00 on a Sunday, was doing a brisk business in breakfasts.

The last tobacconist in Belfast?
“Miss Moran”, at no 6 Church Lane Image (High Street end) is possibly (indeed probably) the last tobacconist in Belfast. To the best of my knowledge it doesn’t even sell newspapers or dolly mixtures. 100 years ago nos 4&6 were occupied by W McLarnon, tobacconist and no 10 by C Kirk, tobacconist.

Barber's shop, Belfast (June 2016)
There has been a proliferation of Turkish and Kurdish barber’s shops recently. To the best of my knowledge this one, in Church Lane, is the traditional Belfast version. I have no connection with the business.
