Combermere Street, Belfast
Built before 1861, Combermere Street originally ran from Albion Street to the Donegall Road (background). Following redevelopment of the streets around Sandy Row it now terminates at Stroud Street. It once housed an unusually large number of (horse-drawn) car drivers – possibly because of its proximity to the Great Northern railway station.
