Castle Street is another of the streets in central Belfast to receive attention under the “Streets Ahead” scheme Image The view is outwards towards Divis Street. The signs suggest that it will be another year before the work is completed.

The Bank Buildings, Belfast
After the devastating fire in late August 2018 (see Image), the Bank Buildings have undergone total renovation. Now due to reopen in November 2022, the scaffolding and shipping containers used to keep the structure secure have finally been removed.

Castle Street, Belfast
