The M1 at Black's Road, Dunmurry (1)
When opened there was only one junction between Celtic Park and Lisburn – at Stockman’s Lane Image A new junction was added at Black’s Road Image but only for traffic to and from Belfast. This is the off-slip. There are long-term plans for new slip roads for traffic to and from the Lisburn/Dungannon directions.

Railway between Dunmurry and Finaghy
There was a time when a railway enthusiast could stand here, prop his elbows on the bridge and photograph passing trains. The new bridge carrying the rebuilt Black’s Road Image across the railway stopped that. The view is towards Belfast.

Orpen Drive, Finaghy, Belfast (April 2016)
There are several of these blocks of flats in the area between Finaghy Road South and the Upper Lisburn Road. To the best of my knowledge they were built in the 1960’s to a design which has lasted well.

Black's Road, Dunmurry (1)
Originally a standard two-lane suburban road, the south eastern section to Kingsway/the Upper Lisburn Road was completely rebuilt in the late 80’s to provide access to new slip roads to and from the M1 (Belfast direction only). This is the view towards the Stewartstown Road. It also has a park and ride car park (out of picture to the left).
