Seal and Penguin Coast
The corner of the zoo has a large body of water, moved by a wave-making device. Under the great mesh are some penguins, seals and flying bird species. It is easy to forget you are actually in the midst of suburban Bristol - Clifton College buildings loom beyond.

Bristol Zoo lemur
One of the large group of ring-tailed lemurs, seen in the Lemur Walk-through enclosure. This endangered species is threatened in its native Madagascar by habitat destruction for slash and burn agriculture, charcoal production and mining for gemstones and minerals.

Bristol Zoo Gardens - seal enclosure
The seals were being very boisterous and account for the disturbance in the water. The site is very compact and fine buildings can be seen on three sides.
