The New Church on Cranbrook Road
A church, now converted into residential use, was founded as the area was developed around the turn of the 1900s. It was originally an Immanuel (Swedenborgian) church; that branch of Christianity was based on the thoughts of scientist and mystic Emanuel Swedenborg (1688–1772).
