Filton Avenue Post Office, Filton
Located at 550 Filton Avenue. Also in view are S.J. Mini Market and Franklin Cole estate agents office. The precise location of this post office is difficult to pin down. Some references state it is in Filton, others say Northville. Both of these are in South Gloucestershire. A few references give Horfield, Bristol which I know is wrong because I'd left Bristol at the Filton boundary sign http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4015831 some time earlier, since when I'd been walking northwards, deeper into South Gloucestershire.

The pub is on the corner of Filton Avenue and Northville Road. The pub sign shows
not a dog but the Bristol Type 102 Bulldog, the main RAF fighter of the early 1930s.
