Drain, dredge and rebuild
St George's Park lake is undergoing some much-needed repair. The ground underneath some footpaths has collapsed and caused damage to them. Work is scheduled to restore the stability and rebuild the paving.

Sewer Repairs Hudd's Vale Rd
The old brick round arched sewer can be seen just below the new large concrete manhole. There is a large existing brick lined chamber in the foreground which has been partially demolished.

Venture Videos
The shop video rental business died a death during the noughties as downloads and personal digital recorders became more popular. The video rental shop on the corner of Plummer's Hill and Park Avenue looked as if it had been closed for a few years.
