Woodford Lodge
Chew Valley Lake is one of Britain's prime fishing venues. It was created in the 1950s when the valley was flooded to form the reservoir and this lodge was built as a central pint for much of the activities. It boasts a number of offices to deal with the administration, licensing and general business; a tackle shop; and a restaurant offers warm meals to anglers and public alike. The World championships were held here in 2000, wherein the lodge was refurbished.
