Crashing the gate at the crosspaths
Despite the nearest road being quite some distance away, it appears that this gate has been on the end of a severe bashing. It also marks the crossing of two footpaths and a stream.

The adjoining field is occupied by sheep, some of whom tend to gather at the water and leave so much wool on the thorns that it looks like Old Man's Beard!
