Airshaft of railway tunnel, Old Sodbury, Glos
A railway tunnel runs under the hill east of Old Sodbury and is served by a number of ventilation shafts of which this is one. They are made of blue engineering bricks. There is an apparent disparity between the horizontal lines of the roofs in the foreground exacerbated by the leaning lamp-post.
