Armstrong Hall Complex, Thornbury
Located on the south side of Chapel Street, the Armstrong Hall Complex is a multi-function entertainment and community facility. Part of the complex on the right is Cossham Hall, built in 1789 as a Wesleyan chapel, rebuilt in 1835. John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, preached here in 1789 and 1790. The building was donated to the town by Handel Cossham in 1888.

High Street greengrocers, Thornbury
The shop is shut today, New Year's Day 2012. Outside the shop are rows of crates on which fruit and vegetables are displayed when the shop is open. There was no name on the shop located between the Hawkins of Thornbury hardware & DiY store out of shot on the left and a Santander office on the right.
