At last - a left turn!
The junction of St John's Lane, Malago Road and Sheene Road has been the point where the long series of roadworks has forced the closure of some routes. For over two years traffic wanting to turn left and go up Malago Road have been prevented whilst the road has had a massive redevelopment. However, that work has reached the stage where traffic has now been allowed back, as the white car proves. The recent problem of landslip along the nearby York Road (a busy route) has forced that road's closure and the re-opening of Malago Road was brought forwards by a couple of weeks from the plan.
