Glenthorne House
Glenthorne House was built in 2019, following the 2018 demolition of F.E. Thorne Metal and pipe fabrication and welding, which was built on the site of Union Court, and part of Bedminster Place, which consisted of 10 early 19th century terraced houses and courtyards.

A little alley (typical of this old area, but slowly being lost to redevelopment) that leads out to Stillhouse Lane.

Bedminster Place
The lower end of East Street is an old part of town and was built in times when there were many little alleyways like this. Given the passage of time and the many changes that the place has seen, it comes as something of a shock to see how little regard it seems to be given now.

Spreading the colour
A return to an East Street vista: the left-hand shop appears to be closed, or at least in renovation, but has been painted quite beautifully. Now the older paint job has company. See Image] for the improvement or Image] for the same shot in duller light.

Brightbow Workspace
A very colourful and geometric appearance on East Street. Note also the glazed ceramic tiles on the walls, indicating an older style of shop in its past.

What a splash of paint can do
The former Indian restaurant had struggled for some time and has now closed. With the site empty it appears that the frontage has been given a lick of paint, featuring flowers and Humming birds, along with the customary graffiti.
