Tribute to Mibzy
North Street is home to many artistic expressions. Mibzy (Matthew Hibbert) was local man with a passion for spray art and artists, and was a central figure in the movement in the early twenty-first century. He sadly passed away in 2015 at the age of 39.

On the left is a tribute to Mibzy, the local graffiti enthusiast Matthew Hibbert who died in 2022. He co-ran ‘King of Paint’ – a spray supply outlet and gallery by the Bearpit in the centre of Bristol. It was a popular spot for everyone who painted in Bristol to purchase materials and hangout. To the right, an image named the "Bedminster Dream Tree" by Mary Ann Loo featuring a lot of penguins and some familiar Bristolian sights

A mini mosaic on North street
Keep your eyes open whilst out and about in Southville as there are some small items in amongst the larger, more obvious artworks. It is about the size of a hand, stuck to a wall at the junction with Dartmoor Street at about eye-level. Look carefully and you may make out the letters WTF.

Mural by the Spotted Cow
The cow has round spots, the wall has cubes. The pub is over 200 years old and reflects the area's agricultural use of yore. However, most of the present parts of Bedminster and Southville are defined by the Victorian terraces and the former tobacco factories.

The professional way to urban art
A full scaffold is required for the latest in the creative field. The new work is covering an older one; in many years time it may be a puzzle for archaeologist to peel back the layers.
