Field near Great Stoke
Footpath LSG 7/40 turns away to the right here and becomes footpath LSG 6/10, as seen in Image There are numerous tree guards ahead. I think the buildings glimpsed across the B4057 are at the Bristol Motorcycle Training Centre.

Not what it's for
The pond near Great Stoke used to have some form of life saving equipment. Sadly it seems the ring has gone and the holder used to save dog owners a bit of effort.

Winter Stream Farm
Clearly this is a new pub, not an actual farm; nor does the history of this site include a specific farm. Through most of the past it was open countryside until the twentieth century when this place was a clay pit and brickworks.
