The new buildings have a greenish appearance - protective plastic sheets cover the new glazing. They will be removed nearer the time.

Herbert Street enters a new chapter
The new blocks of flats and apartments seem near to completion at the east end of Herbert Road. It is a different look to the past when this spot was a row of Victorian terraced houses, a former Prmitive Methodist Bethseda chapel and a rail line that used to run from the Dean Lane colliery to a coalyard nearby.

Northfield House completely under wraps
The whole tower block has been wrapped whilst work is undertaken. Only one exterior platform is operating.

Woolies, Bedminster
Woolworths in East St, Bedminster. A great shop stocked full of all sorts of items you didn't realise you needed.
The company was heavily in debt, consequently this store closed on 3rd January 2008.

New water pipes on Herbert Street
As the latest apartments are beign fettled for new occupiers, a team of workers get to grips with installing some new water piping. The end wall of the nearest block is now sheer - having the old steps from the back of the shops removed.
