The new Chew bridge
The underside of Keynsham's Bath Hill bridge. It's a more modern concrete design that replaced the old version in 1968. That year a devastating summer flood took it away. See Image] for a look at the water's reflections.

Keynsham Memorial Park
Some of the area that is now the park has been used as such for over 150 years. The modern park was laid out as a memorial to the soldiers lost in the Great War and the walls of the entrance include a tablet of the fallen (see Image]). As with so many other memorials, this had a new tablet unveiled after WWII; since, a further entry has been made for a Major R. Nutbeem (RAMC), who fought in the Falklands. Also see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2842309 for the crest on the gates.

Planter terraces
When Keynsham civic centre was demolished and completely rebuilt a few years ago, this open space was created. The steep flanks are mainly new shops and restaurants, but this section has been given a number of orderly planters before the drop down to Bath Hill.

A time capsule in the new steps
Keynsham civic centre was rebuilt in recent years and this set of steps now holds a secret. Buried under the nearest flagstone is a time capsule, laid down in 2016, that has 'reflection of our town' inside.
