The Chew valley near Keynsham
The river flows north here as it approaches the older parts of Keynsham. The cottages along Steel Mills are on the east bank, with the large structure of Keynsham hospital on the far side. It stands on the site of the old Union Workhouse.

A private walk over the path
An unusual way to traverse a public footpath. Still, it beats getting your boots muddy.

St. Johns Church looks over the rooftops centre frame, ever vigilant.
The hills in the background are on the other side of the River Avon.

Memorial seat on Wellsway
This bench overlooking the River Chew appears to have been dedicated to a local woman, but also bears a second plaque remembering another added later.
