A glimpse of two locomotives at Bitton station
There were no scheduled services on the heritage Avon Valley Railway today,
so this glimpse through the yard was as close as I got to a locomotive.
In the middle background is the dark red top of a tank steam locomotive.
On its right is the green cab of what looks like a diesel shunter.

South side of the yard at Bitton railway station
Bitton is the centre of operations for the heritage Avon Valley Railway. There is a wide variety of railwayana and period items here. In the foreground are a red phonebox and a railway trolley.
The modern red motorbike is not part of the railway equipment!
