A block of flats lamented by Civic Society: "The destruction of Bristol's most important Georgian suburb in the 1960s was perhaps the worst of all the crimes committed in Bristol in the name of progress since the war" http://www.about-bristol.co.uk/kng-03.asp . Fremantle House has 102 flats on 14 floors and was completed in 1967.
