Arched place of work
Originally a boot and shoe factory, the building has had a few changes of use over the years: it was a depot but is now a gear engineer's site.

Where there is a flat wall space...
...There will be colour, design and mystery. The old brickwork and ironmongery of the engineering works is left, whilst the flat canvas of the rendering attracts the can.

House on King Square, Bristol
Part of a listed terrace of six on the southwest side of the square, "laid out by George Tully c1740, whose houses on the SE side have been destroyed" https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1292616 . This house has "wrought-iron basket balconies". 2 Dighton Street, Bristol
Aka Harford House. A stately Palladian villa, 1760, standing aloof from the street. Probably the work of local architect-builder, Thomas Paty. It has been treated rather disrespectfully - the asymmetry of the wings would make Palladio turn in his grave. Five-bay pedimented centre, rusticated ground floor, pedimented doorcase. Grade II listed. Now flats I think. Graffiti at lower left reads, "When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty".
