A sunny seat
A small grassy triangle at the edge of the village is the place for a bench seat. It is dedicated to a local farmer.

Lenny's caf
Shipham's little eatery was created by church-goers in 1998 and has been run by village volunteers since. It is a non-profitmaking concern offering light meals and drinks during lunchtimes. Before that it was a butcher's shop.

A rest for walkers
The Limestone Link passed through Shipham; close to the war memorial is a small café (see Image]) which has a table on the small green with a cover over it for customers' use. Just the job for walkers requiring some sustenance.

Shipham war memorial
Dedicated to the five men who lost their lives in WWI and the three in WWII. The memorial also serves to mark the monarchy in that the edifice was relettered in the May 1935 and June 2002 jubilee celebrations. See Image] for a detail.
