St Andrew's church
The lychgate leading to the church, which appears to have stood here for centuries. Certainly some parts of this Romanesque style building date to the twelfth century, but as St Andrew is the patron saint of fishermen, it is thought an earlier chapel was founded here in Saxon times. See Image] for a benchmark on the church's southern front.
