Locos running on gas?
A gas plant has created a double-take opportunity. This area of St Philip's Marsh has many railway lines (and had many more in the past), but these 'locomotives' are not going anywhere. His Reverence may have approved. A brass plaque records that this site was given an environmental improvement award in 1993.

Benchmark on Albert Crescent bridge
As St Philip's Marsh was developed in the very late 1800s and the railways spread across from Temple Meads, this bridge took the G.W.R. Relief Line. When that was completed a benchmark was set into it. See https://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm35352 for the entry in the Benchmark Database and Image] for a wider view.
