Standing mill stone
This mill stone used to work in the old Portishead Mill, some distance away, until it closed in the early 1800s. The stone has since been repositioned here against the restaurant, which itself lies on part of the old sea walls.

Portishead Bell, Wyndham Way - formerly the bell at Battery Point Lighthouse

Battery Point bell
The old Battery Point lighthouse has been replaced by a smaller and more modern facility. The bell in it was removed to this spot in the middle of the road carriageways, courtesy of the Bristol Port Company in the Diamond Jubilee year of 2012.

Bell by the roadside
The old Battery Point lighthouse bell has been repositioned on the major roads in Portishead for all to see. It was cast by Gillett and Johnston of Croydon; the clockmakers and founders operated from 1844 to 1957.
