New for old
Bristol's old riverside has been extensively facelifted in recent years. Gone are the old industries, particularly brewing, and white collar job work is now the major player. Some of the original frontages have been kept however.

Reflection, Georges Square. Bristol
A curious reflection seen across the Floating Harbour, with tree branches in Castle Park apparently creating an equine head. At top right is the disfigured image of the octagonal cupola of All Saints' Church. Georges (there doesn't seem to be an apostrophe) Square is a "mixed-use scheme ... at the former Courage Brewery site".

Bristol old and new
The riverfront was occupied by some large warehouses and factories in the past. With the modern era bringing new apartments and offices as well, the scene captures the timespan. And it wouldn't be Bristol if it didn't have spray paint over it.
