Shortwood church and the parish noticeboard
The church was founded in 1876 as the Primitive Methodist chapel and at the time was in a remote rural area. Nowadays the fringes of Bristol have crept much closer to Shortwood, but the church is associated still with the nearby town of Pucklechurch.

Names on the entrance
Shortwood Primitive Methodist chapel dates from 1876; intriguingly there are the names of people carved into the entrance and coin stones, presumably the original church officials.
