Cromwell's Hide
An unusual name for a new housing development. As it happens the road backs onto the ancient Wickham Court, where in 1645 Fairfax and Cromwell stopped to plan the attack on Royalist Bristol in the Civil War.

A 17th Century bridge over the River Frome.
