Plaque on Christmas Steps
A medley of buildings, mainly 18th and 19th century, but retaining the medieval layout. A rare survival given the damage to the City Centre in World War 2. All buildings, and the old gas lamps, are Listed Grade II.

Down the Steps
Christmas Steps is a well-known part of old Bristol, although the name attracts some debate. One line of thought is that it was originally 'knife-smith' Steps, but has since become corrupted.
