Vegfest 2016
Bristol is gaining a reputation for many different festivals based in the historic docks area. This weekend is Vegfest - Britain's largest vegan event - and occupies the Lloyds amphitheatre; the old docks are in the watery background. The festival offers plenty of different vegetable flavours and a music stage.

Harbourside - new apartments and esplanade at Bristol Harbour
By following this walkway eastwards, you reach the Lloyd's Building and amphitheatre, and can continue to the Watershed, Arnolfini and city centre. The path, here, has an ultra smooth finish which is perfect for cyclists. The old rail tracks, which used to run along the dockside, are buried in the surface.
