2010 : Junction of Ferry Road to Hanham Mills
Junction of three roads here, the camera is on Abbots Road joining end to end with Court Farm Road. Far more interesting, to the right, is Ferry Road leading to Hanham Mills and the River Avon. Not sure if the ferry still operates.

To the Avon at Bickley Wood
The path carries on down the hill to the riverside; the stile makes a short detour from the road to run around a farm and back onto it.

2010 : Abbots Road looking west
Approaching Hanham Green.
The railings ahead mark the bridge over the Avon Ring Road (Bristol Ring Road really).
If you wanted Paul Mundy you have just missed him, probably off on a decorating job.
Bristol's green belt crosses here, be quick or you will miss it.

Stone posts and a wooden gate on Abbots Road
The posts seem to hark back to an older age when Hanham was a distant and leafy area well away from Bristol. Today the A4174 rushes past not so far away. On the right hand posts is a benchmark - see Image
