The club (and a few other groups) occupy a former boot and shoe factory. Kingswood was the third largest producing area for the industry in the nineteenth century. See Image] for a closer look at the phone box.

Telephone box on Two Mile Hill Road
Although there are other boxes along such a busy and lengthy stretch of town, this one seems to be trying to camouflage itself among lots of other urban ephemera. See Image] for a wider view of the old factory.

The exterior of Image at least gives a hint of neo-classical grace, with the modillions on the corner pilasters http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=28707&resourceID=5 .

Kingswood Wesleyan Chapel
The building, listed grade II, is not in a good state. Built in 1843, it is described at http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=28707&mode=adv . Buddleia is the principal tenant. According to http://derelictmisc.org.uk/wesley.html , which gives further images, it was a dance school after being desconsecrated. You'd be unwise to try dancing here at the moment.
