The northern end of Ringspit Lane BOAT
Junction of northern end of Ringspit Lane BOAT and the minor road between Whitchurch and Keynsham. The 'Unsuitable for through traffic' sign only applies if your vehicle cannot negotiate narrow steep rocky lanes with deep muddy puddles and large ruts.

Unsuitable road
At the junction with Woollard Lane is Ringspit Lane, a byway that runs through to the A37. At this (eastern) end of the byway the surface is quite good and serves a number of properties before turning into a muddy track.

Planning to grow rice?
A field on the outskirts of Whitchurch and Queen Charlton has, as is often the case, suffered after heavy winter rains. The land simply has a bit of a depression and is not near a stream.
