New public art
One of a number of inner city concrete jungles that have been officially allowed to be sprayed up as an acceptable form of public art. Not sure the images have any relevance to the buildings they are on, but it makes a change from grey.

But is it art?
The style of painting that pervades Nelson Street may perhaps be described as 'youthful', 'urban' or indeed 'reactionary'. But is it the sort of thing that you would expect? See Image] for more.

An arresting sight
A police vehicle pound is located just out of shot behind the newly painted street. Clearly, the presence doesn't deter another camera-wielding passer-by. See Image] for more of this colourful area.

A wolf in a lumberjack shirt
This is the first work completed in the 'See No Evil' project as spray art enveloped many of the city's old concrete blocks. Barcelona artist Aryz, 22, completed this large image with rollers in a day and a half and was described by fellow urbanite Inkie: "It’s a wolf in a lumberjack shirt with braces, up the side of a whole building, which looks stunning."

Not even the bridge has escaped
The trend to paint the cityscape in Bristol includes the footbridge across Nelson Street. Whether that makes the properties more attractive or less desirable remains to be seen. See Image] for more like this in the area.

Seven storey art
Not your average graffiti artist's handiwork. Officially permitted as part of the local council's move to brighten up parts of the inner city and centre, this piece of artistry covers several floor's worth of brickwork.
