Lower Mead
The name of this section of the field according to the 1842 tithe map. The modern field stretches from near North Barnes Farm to Novington Lane and North Barnes Lane to the footpath to the north and has incorporated what were five smaller fields. Field Cottage on Novington Lane is visible on the right.

House Mead
The name of this section of the field according to the 1842 tithe map. The modern field has incorporated what were three smaller fields with this being the westernmost bounded by Novington Lane. North Hall is on the right and was once Clears Farm. The building partially obscured by the hedge to the left is Little Clears.
