Approach to Swanborough Farm
Swanborough is a small hamlet at the foot of the Downs. The footpath makes a hairpin bend through the farmyard to the right.

Swanborough from Swanborough Hill
The hamlet of Swanborough, in the centre of the view consists of a 13th Century Manor House, a farm and a few cottages. The Manor house was once part of the priory of St Pancras but in 1963 was given to Sussex University by Lady Reading.
