Looking south down the main street through Plumpton Green.This offshoot of Plumpton grew after the building of the station and was helped further by the building of the racecourse.

Plumpton Green Village Store and Post Office
Recently under a threat from the post office closures but has survived for now. The small general stores sell a fair amount of local produce too and are worth a stop to pick up some locally made jam alone. Located on the corner of Station Road and Riddens Lane.

Plumpton Green Village Green
Created in 1995 when the village hall beyond was built. A few more benches or seats would be ideal as it was a particularly pleasant place to sit and have some lunch on a nice sunny September day.
