Coastway East Railway
Heading out of Lewes towards Hastings, Newhaven and Eastbourne. This part of the line was actually built in the 1880s the original having headed north, skirted the town then swung south.

The Keeper Saves
Action during a Lewes FC vs Wingate & Finchley match at The Dripping Pan. Lewes' keeper saves a shot from the Wingate number 8 in front of the standing area at the east end of the ground. The Rooks, as Lewes FC are known, have played here since 1885. The ground was redeveloped in 2006 when improved facilities were needed as Lewes found themselves playing in the Conference South. They have subsequently dropped back down to the Ryman League Premier Division. Information about The Rooks, including the history of the club can be found at http://lewesfc.com/home .
