Tudor kitchen in Anne of Cleves' House, Southover, Lewes
Situated in no 52 Southover High Street, Southover. The house was given to Anne of Cleves by Henry VIII after their marriage was annulled in 1540. It is believed that she never actually lived here or even visited. It has passed through many hands since and has had changes and restoration and is now owned by Sussex Archaeological Society It is open to the public as a museum.

Lewes - Anne of Cleves' House - Kitchen
The hearth in the kitchen of the Anne of Cleves' House museum in Lewes. This room is situated in the western wing, the part of the L shaped building which is perpendicular to the High Street. This part of the house is slightly younger than the southern wing, dating from the late 1500s. See shared description below:
