Chalkers Vale, Hurstpierpoint
A new development of 38 dwellings in a triangular piece of land bounded in the north by a small stream, and Cuckfield Road and Chalkers Lane to the west and east respectively. The development has not gone to plan as 15 new houses had to be demolished after it was discovered substandard concrete had been used in the foundations.

Court Bushes Recreation Ground, Hurstpierpoint
Originally known as Sandpit Field according to Hurstpierpoint's 1842 tithe map that by the end of the 19th century had become a sewage farm which lasted until the Second World War and was turned into a sports ground during the 1960s. Danworth Plantation is the wood to the north. The field to the south is Image, whilst another to the south east, now containing Image, was also known as Court Bushes Mead, finally a set of barns that now have now been replaced by Image were also known as Court Bushes.
