Hunters Mead, Albourne
A small estate built in the late 1940s on the western side of the old village street that effectively closed the gap between the old settlements of Albourne Street to the south and Albourne Green to the north. Named after a neighbouring field, see Image, the estate also lies to the north of Image

Hunters Mead/L Field
The name of the fields according to Albourne's 1839 tithe map that have been joined together to make a larger unit along with Image to the west. Hunters Mead was in the foreground whilst L Field was named as it resembled the shape of the letter though part has now been lost to Image See also Image for a view from the opposite side near to Image which cane seen centre left.
