Brighton Road
Leaving the village of Woodmancote taken just before sunset. Woodmancote has always been more of a parish than village and as such there is no real centre just a ribbon of housing built up during the 19th and 20th centuries.

House to the south of the A281
This is a striking and interesting modern house. The outbuildings are also noteworthy, being clad in shiny, corrugated metal. That doesn't sound great, but the effect is actually quite pleasing. Unfortunately I didn't get a decent photo of the latter.

Modernist house built in 1936 by Connell Ward and Lucas with extensive view towards the South Downs. This is the rear view from the footpath that links Holmbush Lane with Brighton Road.
