The Shepherd and Dog
On The Street as it heads west out of Fulking. The inn dates from the 18th century though the building itself was built as a cottage in the 16th. The name commemorates the widespread sheep rearing industry of the villages next to the South Downs. The house beyond is The Old Bakehouse.
