Cromwells at Golding Barn
Tearoom and restaurant on the Henfield Road. Taken from the entrance of the service road to Golding Barn Industrial Estate and Quarry. Out of picture to the left is a small petrol station.

Ruined Barn
Probably belonging to Upper Horton Farm which lies further up the slope on the A2037. The land has started to rise from the flood plain towards the Downs. Truleigh Hill is in the background.

Horton Hall
With a flag of St George flying proudly. According to :- http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.asp?compid=18389&strquery=horton%20hall The manor of HORTON was held in demesne by William de Braose in 1073.

Footpath down Windmill Hill
Linking the restricted byway that runs over the hill with the unmade Smugglers Lane at the bottom. Beyond is the Adur flood plain. The lane beyond the fence is a private driveway.
