Ruined Barn
Probably belonging to Upper Horton Farm which lies further up the slope on the A2037. The land has started to rise from the flood plain towards the Downs. Truleigh Hill is in the background.

Footpath down Windmill Hill
Linking the restricted byway that runs over the hill with the unmade Smugglers Lane at the bottom. Beyond is the Adur flood plain. The lane beyond the fence is a private driveway.

This filling station has been here for at least 50 years but most rural stations cannot compete with the supermarkets.
