Swiss Cottage, Old Shoreham Road
A public house that is a reminder of the old Swiss Gardens amusement park that was opened in 1838 and closed in the early 20th century. Taken from the old railway railway embankment with Bridge View a new development built on the site of a former caravan park.

The Swiss Cottage
Occupying part of the site of the Swiss Gardens (after which the pub was presumably named) including the old boating lake, now turned over to the ducks. This is very much a pub restaurant with the large, single-storey extension housing the kitchen.
