Royal Sovereign, Middle Street
A 19th century public house still faced by tiled designs from the defunct United Brewery. The house to the left is Brandy House whilst the eastern side of the 12th century Marlipins can be seen near the junction with High Street.

Marlipins Museum
On the junction with High Street and Middle Street. Built in the 12th century by the de Braose family it was believed to have originally been the custom house for the port, the nearest channel port to London. It was purchased by the Sussex Archeological Trust in 1922 and opened as a museum in 1928.

Cottages, John Street
Shoreham was laid out as a new town in the 12th century and the street pattern to the north of the High Street pretty much follows the original layout. That to the south was washed away by coastal erosion.
