Marlipins Museum
On the junction with High Street and Middle Street. Built in the 12th century by the de Braose family it was believed to have originally been the custom house for the port, the nearest channel port to London. It was purchased by the Sussex Archeological Trust in 1922 and opened as a museum in 1928.
